  3. τῆς Αἰγύπτου ἐδύναντο μῃ.[...]*

  5. ἥ τὰ ἄλλα περιαιρεῖν· ἀεὶ γὰρ [ἠσσήθησαν τοῦ]
  6. διαβόλου· πολλοὶ γὰρ ἦσαν [οἰ ποτισθέντες]*
  7. ὑπὸ τῆς μιᾶς ῥάβ[δο]υ τοῦ Μ[ωυσέως· ἐφʼ ὧν]
  8. το θνητὸν ὑπὸ τῇς ζω[ῇς ἐνικηθη.]*

… and he will do (it) but the good … of Egypt they were not able … for neither defilement may he may boast … or to take away the other. For they have always been defeated by the devil; for many were drinking by the one staff of Moses, upon which the mortal was conquered by life.
